I'd like to take the opportunity to say "Hello!" and introduce myself:
My name is Kevin Dillard and I'm a fulltime musician/fulltime single dad from Columbus Georgia ( I have 2 daughters ages 6 and 8 along with an 11 year old son) . I found the forum at the suggestion of Derek, whom I had the pleasure of talking to at the MusicMan display during this past Namm in Anaheim.
After talking to him, I went ahead and purchased myself a JP6 in Redburst and couldn't be happier! What a superb instrument. I was looking for something that was an ultimate "tool"..kind of like a "musical swiss army knife"..it has not failed me..
I play on a Christian rock based ministry show called "Realtime" and we have a viewrship of approx. 350 million homes on a weekly basis..add to that that the 11am Sunday morning spot is also live webcast..
I really needed something that was flexible musically and also comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
This summer in July I'll be taking the Petrucci with me to teach at the National Guitar Workshop campuses in Virginia and Murfreesboro/Nashville.
Now all I gotta do is get another MM...maybe a 7 stringer...lol..
Thanks for providing such a nice forum.
I have some tunes you can listen too here: http://music.mp3lizard.com/jbgot/
and here are some various pics:

Greetings and welcome.

Are you AKA Jack Butler? If you are, then I think our paths have crossed before. We just never met. Please PM me if you are interested. I would love to talk with you. (I am originally from Nashville and I think we have a mutual aquaintance)

One thing I have always told people about EBMM guitars is:
After you play them for about 4 hours,
You are ready to play for 4 more.

Sterling!!!
Have I ever told you that you have created a beautiful community here.

Umm, Not interested.

Welcome Jack. NGW has some extremely talented staff. Jody Fisher is one of the most amazing players. Dave Martone is another. Not sure if either are teaching at that campus.

Welcome to a really great forum and a faithful following. ;)
