My therapist says I can no longer take part in any discussion that involves fret buzz, string noise or how to adjust truss rods.

I KNOW.

And yet this is a forum, and stuff is archived, and you can actually search....and then of course there is the FAQ on the EB Website....and common sense....and pretzels that try to kill the President......wait, I may be off subject on that last bit.

I love you, Juan.

we should get a "HOW TO SETUP YOUR BASS" thread sticky on the top since this comes up every few days or so

I agree! it should include lots of pictures for those who can not understand what they read! So instead of trying to find out what something is they can see the part!

if you put a 'how to set you're bass up' thread then the forum would be empty. Plus there are basic principles to work from but lots of other factors which can only be resolved using constructive discussions.

I was just reading you rotosound thread from earlier, and to be honest I agree. But i keep snappping my la bella slappers is this normal? are stainless steel more prone to breaking. In short I want a string which is good for slap and can be played heavily but not break. am I asking to much? or is there somehting out there?
