Look up. Waaaaay up.
I should include my 2 guitars here to make it official.

The Lake Placid Blue is a 2000, originally a honey burst. The Sherwood Green is from 2003. Both were sent to MJT over the past few years and couldn’t be happier with the results. Both colours look stunning in person and I think metallic guitars should have tortoise or pearloid pickguards.

Both guitars have Di Marzio Pro Tracks. One has 2 500k pots while the other has a 250k volume / 500k tone pot configuration. They are my homage to single pickup guitars, past and present.

Nice! Looks like you guys were having a great time. The JP-15 is an amazing instrument. I’d have to say it’s the second best playing instrument I’ve ever played. Congrats! 🍻

Sorry it's taken so long to follow up with you as I never received any follow ups to say that there was a response here. So I'll bite, what's the first best instrument you've played or own? Tom D.

My recently acquired Kaizen! I kind of tried one on a lark one day at Guitar Center, and I was completely blown away with how easy it was to play. I loved everything about it – except the color! The one I played was kryptonite green. Very cool, but not exactly my cup of tea. So I waited until I found a silver one. I guess I love just about everything about it. It’s light, it’s easy to play, the pickups sound fantastic. I’m a big fan of stainless steel frets and Ebony fingerboards and it had those – even in my preferred size of medium jumbo.

Here's my small EBMM collection. The Stingray 2 guitar looks small compared to the others; it's lower bout is the same width as a Strat, though it's about 1/2" shorter in length. It's like a small but fast Porsche Boxster. The St. Vincent in comparison feels more like a boat-sized Cadillac, with a nice armrest to relax into as you play.

Very nice birdseye neck, looks really nice. In a woodworking world big knots like these are considered to be a much higher grade grain.
