Why you gotta get the same one I'm considering?

ETA: Just got a price from Pete. Sorry can't share but it's really no different than the rest of EB's slightly upscale models like Big AL, Bongo 6 or fancy finish SR5s.

Well they are priced below what the 25ths were, and that's great!

US List Price

4 H #230 $2750
4 HH #232 $2850
4 HSS #234 $2950

5 H #235 $3000
5 HH #237 $3150
5 HSS #239 $3250

Matching Headstock = standard feature
Choice of Maple/Rosewood fretboard at no additional charge.

I'm feeling a 232. Black or white is the question... Oh and the fact that my bass fund is already depleted this year.

hands down the meanest bass i own. growls like a mofo in every register. big brown sack of thump on the bottom. tons of pick up / tone combos. everything i could ever want in one bass. hit a note, go out for a bite, come back.... its still ringing. totally insane...

We'll get the five string model up when the instruments get back from NAMM next week.

Thank You sir, I'm about to order one after summer vacation, probably in the second half of August! :)

Just have to see the price list at my local dealer, and decide finally which color, maple FB is sure, but considering now between single H and HH (both with sweetspoted bridge Humbacker  )

Anyway, if decide for HH, I'll use again just bridge H in 95% of usage! :D

Sunburst/Maple 5HSS

Decisions. Big Al5 idea gone, Reflex 5 idea incoming.

Next idea - where to find the cash for one of these badboys!!

WOW...I already have a 25th 5 HH but I can not help but want a Gold Reflex 4 HH with a Rosewood board! Daaaayyyyuuummm BP! TOO MANY choices LOL! Just when I had made up my mind that I was going to get a Big Al single H you go and do this?? How close does the Reflex rear PUP sound to the Big Al single H? I have a double gig bag that goes with me out on the road and that is all I can take so I usually take a 4 and a 5. I ALMOST sold the 25th again because I miss my SR5 but then I came to my senses and realized that the 25th is the best playing and best sounding bass I think I have ever had...There is a heft to the tone that none of my other basses have had. Can I expect more of the same from the Reflex? My 25th is a mean BITC&* too so I know what you mean...Agressive and just plain NASTY but in a very good way. My sound guy loves her...He wanted to kick my a&& when I got rid of my Classic and when I told him I was missing my SR5 he told me that the 25th has WAY more balls and is much clearer and resonant sounding...Guess she isn't going anywhere...

Peace,

T

Since Vintage Gold is the closest thing to orange, I gues that'll have to do... (although I love white whales)

So, Craig, what's your favorite pickup/mode setting?

the one sterling hipped me to. all buttons up except for it being in active mode. then a generous helping of low mids bumped up. so punchy u dont even need a stupid drummer.

LOL! Oh yeah, the inner coils in series... a great sound, love that too! Another sound I really love is the neck H in series, active. It's so... phat and throaty, and very different from the typical MM StingRay sound. I also dig the passive sounds, for the same reason.
