i got an email from the dealer whom i purchased my HS Sterling from and it looks like i wont be getting my 2 PUPer till late Feb, maybe march

i wonder if its cuz the HS Sterling config is one of the later ones to hit the line or something. i dunno ... but i was a bit bummer. oh well, it'll get to me eventually

Of course the last time I've been to either place was right around the time of the open house. Most likely they know now.

Played a HH Stingray at GC tonight, Nice bass, pretty light, reasonable price. If I didn't have a HS Sterling on order, it might have come home with me.

Just imagine your SR with the abilty to add the sound of a nice juicy full sounding humbucker in the neck position.

And if imagining makes you want one, and some normal 2PU versions turn up, get a friend or the shop's bass guy to play an A-B comparison for you from the stores inventory. Then the touch and strings will be the same between them, while you get back 25 ft from the cab to listen to it. After you hear it, you order one in lefty.
