2008 Finishes and Pick Guards

Here are the new colors that were displayed at Summer NAMM 2008. These finishes all have a nice amount of flake and pearl. They are available on all models except the Steve Morse Y2D and BFR series. The Pearl White will not be available on the Axis or Bongo line. I'll probably get some more photos up soon too. Enjoy!

SWEET! I hope the ASS BFR doesn't cost much more than the regular ASS. I was hoping it would have a different wood combination, so it's pretty similar to the regular model, but it's still really awesome! But then again, it does have the BFR finish options and the sweet inlays, and the tone block... The Sterling looks really cool too!

i went crazy on the bass side over the Sterlings but im also giddy overthe super sport BFR. i remember seeing Morse's sons (i think it was a bfr-ish super sport) and thinking it was amazing.

now i know its finally time for a SS.

That Blackburst Axis is sick! Reminds me of Kevin Morse's guitar. Oh well...I guess I'm not buying an ASS anytime soon now that the BFR ASS is coming. Oh...wait...that might depend on whether I want piezo or not. Hmmm...

Dargin, is there any chance that silverburst might be added to the current roster of colors? Also, are those Koa JP's with the gold hardware gonna be made? Thanks.

The word that went around Desert Domination about the Silverburst, which IIRC was a possible 2008LE color, was that BP wasn't interested in rehashing a finish that was so closely associated with another company (i.e., the Silverburst Les Pauls). But...who am I? What do I know?

They already made 2 or 3 of em' (right?) so ya never know. I hope it gets introduced. I'd buy a JP6 BFR and JP7 BFR in that color.
