I got a call from my friendly local neighbourhood EBMM dealer a couple of hours ago telling me to "come and get'em". My two new Music Man basses have arrived and are waiting for me to pick them up.

Gotta go round em up tomorrow. Pics shortly after.

Thornton, GTA huh? Did you go to Steve's or L&M's? What was your impression on their service as far as the order process? What was the turn around time? I've only bought off the wall at either, and was going to inquire about a custom order. Love to hear your impressions.

Got em!!

Had a hard time sleeping last night with all the anticipation running through my head but got up early this morning, walked the dogs, showered (dressed) and hit the road for my 90 minute drive. Got there and both basses were in their shipping cartons waiting for me. Opened them up and drooled! Both are outstanding!! These are the 7th and 8th Music Man basses i've bought over the past five years, so I know what to expect.

They're both now here in my little layer. I'm going to take a couple of pics of them in a few minutes, but i'll give you guys a hint which models they are. I've decided to name one Jet (which is short form) and the other Killer!

lefenton, I ordered them both through L&M's Markham store.

Jet (short for Jetson) is the Big Al-5 H and Killer is the Classic Stingray 5.

Now the fun begins. I get to play them!

Just spent the past hour with the Big Al-5 H and it's outstanding!! I had high expectations for it when I ordered it and its blowin' them out of the water.

Gotta spend some time with the Classic SR5 soon.
