i think all majesty's have a scarf joint. you just don't see it once they get painted

I think that the Armada guitars had scarf joints as well. If you want the neck angle, it definitely wastes less wood, depending on how the original blanks are cut.

Correct on both! The very first Armadas had a different looking joint for the headstock that was eventually changed to the style shown in the above photo.
