Imagine how I felt laying in the operating theatre trying to keep still. Prior to that the surgeon had asked if I could point my middle finger, to which she replied " I'm quite sure he can". From that moment on I knew I was going to enjoy my surgery....and I did. They made my day, really great folk making light of what must be a messy day to day job.
