A few years ago, I purchaed my first guitar with a full rosewood neck... A luke III in olive gold. The Liii quickly became my favorite guitar. Not just because it sounded great but also because the neck is to die for.

Last year, I got another Liii in Bali Burst... Complete perfection!!! Nothing could match this for me

But then I got my Liii in neptune blue. Ohhhhhh Frak!!! That neck with stainless steel frets. I'm obsessed!!!!

It's quickly becoming my fav... Gas is starting to build!!!!

I wish I had troubles like that lol. Mystix all jokes aside how do you like the SS frets and can what difference if any can you feel. I know it sounds crazy but I have still yet to play a guitar with them. Also I can do in a set of nickel frets in 2 or 3 years if I play the snot out of a guitar. Two years I brought a guitar of mine to Matty Brewster of 30th St Guitars in NYC who is the only guy I let do my frets, and he was joking around asking me if I took a mallet to the guitar.lol

Hahaha. I love ss frets. I've owned two other guitars(Suhr) with them and they played fantastic but I didn't bond with them as much as I do with my music mans. Ss make bending so smooth. It's like playing on glass(if that makes any sense). It doesn't make playing on the other Liii worse in any way. It's just different. If I could afford to refret all of my guitars with ss, I would

Hi Mike! I agree that stainless steel frets make bending very smooth. It feels like there is less friction between the string and the fret. I really like them.
