That's the great thing about actually OWNING an EBMM-you can do whatever the hell you want with it.:rolleyes: :p

I got a joke for you:

"The new pickguard fits perfectly, and the bass looks like it came this way from the factory."

Well, no. The pickup is too close to the bridge and the pg is nothing like anything MM has to offer.

Well, I suppose that's one way to keep your volume knob from getting bent...

{ducking}

:D

I suppose you could use the hole to store quarters for the jukebox, or something.

Maybe the changes gave this guy something he was looking for...but IMHO it's just....ew. Ick. "Customized wonder" indeed.

OTOH, if he were to include the old pickup, original preamp and original PG, it could prove to be a hell of a steal for someone prepared to reinstall the original equipment.

In his feedback he gets one for a Bongo neck pickup that he sold for $42.00.
:(

Sounds like he made it into Subaru bass and then couldn't figure out why he didn't like it anymore!

Amen, brother! There is no shame so great that it can't be hidden in the back of the closet for ever and ever and ever!

(...ask me about my ill-advised 1986 attempt to turn an aluminum-neck Kramer 350 into a Telecaster bass..."Cocaine is a helluva drug"--Rick James)

Well, I got a reply. Apparently Captain Dips**t got rid of all the original parts, so anyone who is looking to restore this abortion is SOL, unless BP comes up with an offer to help out again . . . .
