Wow!

It's been a great week on these boards, the highlight for me being the chat with JP. I have to admit that I'm intriuged by mentions of the Lamborghini Petrucci (Lambotrucci anyone?) and can't wait to see how it ends up.

I'm constantly knocked out by the information that EBMM employees take the time to share with us, such as Derek giving us a rundown on what's been shipped to pro musicians and Jon's info around the much missed Axis Sport range. It makes me all the more glad that I decided to buy one of their guitars. It's a good job I got that Saturday job in Ealing Music back in 1990, the shop that first introduced me to the Silhouette :D

Now I'm off to try and cure my brewing GAS for either an AL or Sil Special with 3 SCs......I've tried a bunch of Strats recently and although I love the sounds, I find them uncomfortable to play.

Have a good weekend, all of you ;)

I have to agree. most companies could care less about dessiminating information to "fans" of their products.

this is one of the many reasons I love this company so much (this... and the necks that can withstand the insanly low action that my feux-sticklike playing style requires).

if only I could come back from japan for the open house... ahh well. hopefully there will be a next time....

That's old news... JP mentioned the reversion to 25.5 scale in the 'chat' session that Casey typed the other night.

Bring on some NEW stuff, eh? ;)

Well, that certainly is new. Not quite what I was hoping for, though. *sigh* I guess I'll give up on using those little face icons in my messages... they seem as effective as handbrake on a hydrofoil.

Don't worry about me, BP. I think I'm beginning to get a grip on your sense of humor. I'm also able to take it as well as dish it out, so for future reference feel free to throw a jab my way if it pleases you! ;)

Still, I could have sworn that JP mentioned that he decided to stick with the 25.5 scale somewhere. I've been going nuts trying to find a post, 'cause if I didn't see it here then I imagined it...

Anyway, I am always grateful for the sneak peeks that you give us. And I know we're not worthy, so that makes them appreciated even more. :)

If you don't want to give away all your secrets, you could switch gears and tell us some more of your amusing and informative historical anecdotes.
I love a good story, and you seem to have a collection...

Steve, you didn't imagine it (unless I had the same dream ;)). It was posted by the guy who just went to Gigantour and bought the platinum package so he could do the 'meet & greet'. He said he spoke with John for a good long time, and he was supposed to post some pics....

Mike,

Thanks for validating my sanity! Wow, I couldn't remember where I got that notion, but now that you pointed it out, I remember!
