ENGL Invader 100:

Click for XXL picture!!!

Oh yes, I've had serious GAS for a new amp lately, mainly because I find my 2 channel Fireball a bit limited tone wise, so I've gone for something with a supreme amount of knobs! :D

4 channels, with 2 gain settings each
2 effects loops
Fully midi controllable
Noise gate
2 master volumes
EL34 power section

This baby is going to absolutely slay!

I just cannot wait for it... It's going to be so awesome, expect lots of pics.

I believe Steve Morse is currently using one of these babies in his awesome monster rig, along with the ENGL Special Edition and Powerball (Crazy setup!) so you know it's gonna be good.

Good match for my JP7, you think?

That is a stinking cool looking beast!!!! I wish the sound clips worked on their webpage... I'm playing a lot more cover tunes these days, and I'd like something to complement my Mesa for the more British sound...I bet nothing that ENGL makes is innexpensive though. LOL

Maybe I can find some live clips of Steve with Deep Purple since he started using them...

Nah I don't think I'd have the energy for another band....:) I'm quite happy doing a few gigs here and there... gettin old now (40 this past June) I can't keep up with all these kids now wit their loud amps and fancy tricks...:D give me few old blues tunes and I'm happy....

Old!!!!! Man, you're not even hittin' your prime yet!! A man in his fifties with a MM in his hand, sparks flyin' all over the board, yeah, that's a sight of beauty!!!

You got a ways to go brother, don't let the air out of the sails yet!

Dude uses an Invader 150, which ain't exactly the same, but probably close enough. ;)
