I remember seeing that one and really digging it. I have a fairly uncommon purple with rosewood and matching. I know this isn't what you asked for, but anytime I can show off my favorite guitar is cool beans.

You're right Colin. It probably wouldn't be worth spending the money for a matching headstock. The natural headstock would be close enough.

Actually, I was more curious how the rosewood board would look. Thanks for the photo. That is a great top.

That's what I was thinking as well. I would assume if you ordered the matching headstock with a natural ASS there would be a piece of flame or quilt wood on the headstock with the clear coat over that. If you left it non matching, it would just be the clear coat over the basswood headstock.

Oops, my bad. I was thinking about the body when I typed it. So substitute maple in place of basswood.

That would actually be good news cause you could save some money not having to order a matching headstock
