When properly strung and adjusted, that HH Bongo should make your 30th a little nervous.

When you have a properly adjusted Bongo, dialed in through your favorite rig, it will make any bass nervous! One of the few basses that actually makes me giggle (in disbelief) while palying it...............Very cool indeed! :cool:

Bongo's also tend to make my wife nervous..............Especially, when shopping on line! :rolleyes:

Waaay too many strings. Real men only use 3.

And the 30th would only be nervous if she has flats on her. :D

As the drummer said "Thats a good sounding bass, but it lacks the punch that your red one has." He was refuring to my fretless 30th.

Nothing beats that huge chunk of mahogany. The four best sounding basses I ever owned all have a relevant mass of mahogany in their body. But then again, as Jack always points out, it's a personal preference.
