how many fender strats get sold to finance new balls i wonder? i have 2 sitting here waiting for the bay......

i never, ever baught a strat... tho ive had an mx tele for 12 years or so that still gets some play time. its the axe ill take anywhere and not worry about.

I really want a Luke too. It may be cuz the forum's been growing (and a lot of new folks are posting) but ive noticed a lot of threads about people buying the "less common" MM guitars and basses. Ive been seeing alot more "i just got an AL/Luke/Sterling" threads. its great!!!

the "problem" with MM guitars and basses is that eventually you really find that you "need" another one. what's that thing that koogie says?

Phatty I couldn't agree with you more. Funds always seem to be the problem for me.

Oh and Koogie says "Welcome to the Affliction!!", right???

Hahahahahahaha, I never want to owe Koogie anything other than a drink man. :D

never bought a Fender strat but I did buy a G&L Legacy (Leo Fender's last tweaking of his Fender design) years ago. I still have it. The neck takes some getting used to as it's a thick C shape, but it does sound pretty good. Still thinking of trading/selling it and jumping on an Albert Lee because I do want a guitar w/ the classic strat sound. I would like to try one first however to check out the body size/shape and the neck profile.

Well i traded 3 fender strats and a G & L John Jorgenson model for my EBMM JP6's

2004 50th anniv strat (2 tone sunburst)
2004 standard series (black)
1996 lonestar strat (teal green)
1995 G & L john jorgenson (silver sparkle)

for

2003 JP6 (black sparkle)
2006 JP6 (rad red)

See how many guitars i had to get rid to fund some BALLS!!!!!!

I'm fresh out strats, so now i have to save my pennies.:D

hello everyone!

congratulation on the luke! i will get one soon...(lukeII of corse) for me its just an awesome guitar!!!
unfortunately here in europe mm´s are very expensive... in fact you can get 2of them in the us... for the price you pay here in europe...

also you hardly find a musicman guitar in your local store over here... actually there are just a few mm´s in austria... so its just curious...
it would be great to buy the mm´s from the factory...:D ... but thats not possible...

i can´t understand why there are just a few lukers here... ok, the axis is just a classic and also a wonderful guitar (i want an axis too..hehe) so i can truly understand why there are so many axis owners/players... but the luke is really a awesome piece of wood!!! and i am obsessed by the NEW luke...

greets
tom
