You will NOT regret with the Y2D. May I suggest a quilted Purple Sunset one Koog? ;)

1. Axis. To me, this is the work horse of the group. I started with one many years ago and I have always loved them. Looking at one in Pacific Blue Burst or Natural.

2. Y2D. I loved the feel of this guitar and it is just a stunner to say the least. I would get this in Tobacco Burst.

3. AL. Even Big Poppa will tell you I couldn't put that one down at the NAMM show in Austin. Simply a great feeling and sounding axe. Pacific Blue Burst with a white ice pick guard.....awesome.

In this list, I'd say Y2D. It's the only one that can do what the other 2 can, but the other 2 can't do what this one can.:D

And a Tobacco Burst Y2D is DA SEX!!!!!

It's a shame you're not Man / Tough enough for a Silo, Koogs

Maybe a nice pink AL ?

:D:D;)

Dizzy....LOL....you always brighten my day with your posts. Yeah...not man enough I guess. Shame really...it is a great axe.

Yes, I play metal...but...in my band. I think I have it narrowed down a bit. Just waiting on something from a certain 6 fingered knucklehead.

Thanks for all the suggestions.....believe me...I want to get them all...but...can't just yet.

Quilt or Flame? Doesn't matter to me really. I would love to see the BFR AL in flame though....goes with pink thing if you catch my drift....;)

Well Koogs any decision yet, the curious minds want too know:D:cool:

Well...talking to Pete today via batphone....we have ruled out the BFR AL. As Pete said..."Would not fit your (koogs) personality at all....even though it is an awesome guitar." I really believe it is...just like green...no pink guitars for me.

Getting a price check on two. Hopefully, the SMOC will produce a tobacco burst Morse for me to see. So...no...haven't made up my mind yet.

Hey Koogs,

Glad things are getting better for ya. Thought I'd add another Y2D photo. I actually had a chance to give one a go a few weeks back. I was pretty impressed with it. I can see what all the fuss is about now. I could actually see myself getting one in the future. For me it would be a tough call between the Y2D and the Axis, but I think I'd go with the Axis. There's just something special about that model.:D

Koogie,

I have an SMy2d (flame, tobacco, hardtail,"custom made") that I'm willing to part with. If your other sources don't pan out & you're interested, PM me.
