Nice one guys ... shout it from the rooftops "Build it and they will come".

I love black guitars - BP has always said they're the best sellers.

Ebony fret board avec stainless - that would be nice too.

Hey spud one year to go before next Christmas this is kind of very very advanced pre order :)

As for gamechanger type of guitar I'm wondering why silo and not Al with HHH configuration?

Also the actual gamechanger (reflex based) must be a terrific guitar

Tried my 25th yesterday and came to the conclusion that the wood combination is just fantastic!

Spud, if you're not in dire need of 24 frets and have the extra cash in your stocking I too would recommend giving the Reflex a try (probably at Knighton Music when you're around the area the next time?)...the GC Reflex will be available in a HSH configuration as well.

Hee hee nice input guys.
I know that I have a very pretty EVH and some nice burst Als, but my preference really is solid colour guitars. I love Black guitars and that's a legacy of my Les Paul. Some of you may remember my signature from many years ago when I used to have "Black" next to my Gear at that time Black Cherry burst, Black Leal, Black F50 etc etc Had to change my sig as the collection progressed.

So let's address some of the great input from you guys ... ...

Keith - no pickguard sounds like a great idea to me but bearing in mind all the different combinations EB has to offer I just dunno whether they would do that - but I'd love to see a mock up of how a Black Silo would look like in that config.

Banjo - yeah I think black is classy too - understated on stage - and I'll certainly use it live.

3MB/Coffee - Yeah I know that it's a bit of a shock as it's well known on here how I really rate the AL. The HH roasted neck AL I played in Knighton Guitars was truly awesome. But I have to manage my expectations. It's a bit of a story but here goes .. OlPlayer bought a Sterling Silo and I used it at a jam night one time - that thing sang and got me into thinking that I ought to buy one. Then I got thinking .. what if EB bring out a Gamechanger Silo, wouldn't that be awesome. So I got saving a bit and what with some other things - have money to spend on another guitar. I can't justify just getting loads of guitars and felt that as I already have 3 nice Als why not go for something a bit different? I really need to get to visit family in the States and I could get one whilst over there - assuming that EB will also put the GC onto other models.
Not wishing to diss the reflex but I have spent some time with them when I was lucky enough to work at exhibitions and I was always drawn back to the Silo. So the Silo is calling to me and it's hard to resist. I may contemplate moving on my JP6 if there was an Al that I just had to have - but it would have to be very special for me to do that.

I say Xmas but if I was a betting man then I couldn't see a Silo with GC hitting the streets before that - but hell wat do I know lol

Baz - I thought that all my dark deeds weren't known - but I guess Santa knows all the bad boys. If he won't accommodate my "Dear Santa letter" I may just make a move on a choice between an old Vox AC10 or AC30. I sold one in the 70's for £65 - my bad!!!

Dr Kev - I thought that I'd stopped salivating now you got me at it again !!!

Foggy - you always did have impeccable taste - so yeahhhhhhhh bring on the black silo.
