This song is called Second Son and was originally tossed around as the title for our 2nd album (first one has a big 'ol sun on the cover) until Jay came up with the album title "Dead Man's Cigarettes"

I found myself using the 20th Silo and the #7 BFR JP on more tracks than originally planned, they both sounded incredible when the Soldano SLO-100 got pushed into the power section. I've been tracking since July 3rd and will hopefully have my parts finished tonight. I will share the whole track w/ video as long as the rest of the boys approve.

Anyways, here's an unmixed clip from studio w/ scratch vocals. The 20th Silo comes in around 19 seconds and was tuned to drop-D with Not Even Slinky strings - for a 5yr old he sounds pretty tough!

Thanks Pete. Now I miss not only my 20th, but my old Hot Rod 50 as well. Thanks a lot. :p

That 20th sounds gigantic! Awesome.

Yep those are the stock pickups!

I finished my main parts last night and we are off to vocals now - I have 4 solos left to record later on.

TNT, that's pure dry guitar and amp tone! No delay, reverb, or any tricks whatsoever on my track with the 20th. Simply the magical 20th Anny Silo into the SLO-100.

Amp settings:
OD Preamp 9:00 (#3), bass/mid/treble all at 12:00 (#5.5), OD master 1:00 (#6.5), presence 8:00 (#2)

I do believe Jay's rhythm guitar on the left has a little reverb, while I know his guitar on the right is in a fixed wah position.
