Vintage sunburst is one of my favorite finishes. The pictures in that ebay ad don't do that finish justice. Jack has a nice picture of a VBSR5 that does the finish justice. Perhaps he will post it. Jack?

Thanks Jack. Those pictures look fine. The one of the back of the bass comes close to capturing the true in-person appearance of vintage sunburst.

BTW Bill, that clear guard on you 'Ray may be original. The early EB basses came with both black and clear pickguards.
