Hey guys, it's been a while, I don't post much cause I don't have much to say. Just to let you know, I just got my 1970 Ampeg VT 40 re worked at fliptops.com, Bruce did a great job. This amp has great cleans and a midrange sweep knob that defies description... it was marketed as a "modeling" amp, with pictures in the manual of Marshall, Fender, and Vox sounds. Also, my wife (oldstrad), the same one who bought me the 25th last year, let me pick up a Suhr Badger 18 head. Now, I love the old Ampeg, but the Badger is just incredible, I can do everything I hear in my head without any effects whatsoever. The 25th and the Badger is a match made in Heaven.

The Badger is pretty nice. I had the 18 for years (just sold it). Had the 30 too, didn't dig it as much though.
