For currently: Nothing. Both my basses were destroyed in a car accident 4 months ago. Thankfully that opened the door for some new gear.

So in the future, it will be Bongos in either HH or HS, and either 5 or 6 strings. Haven't really decided yet, and haven't played an HS Bongo yet.

As for music, jazz fusion, blues, progressive, classic and modern metal/rock (not that punk/emo/alternative crap).

As of this past week, my Bongo 5H is my new fancy. :D

Broad music range, rock, progressive, jazz, blues, even known to do a bit of country. No rappy hip hop stuff.

I'm a school drop out.

But I like to play cornbread country. Unfortunately to make a living I have to play everything from classical to blues… even acid gospel. I still get more gigs as a keyboard guy, but I always wear my EBMM shirts and carry my EBMM Zippo.

Phatty won't admit it, but his new Bongo HH has taken over. Phatty is now a slave to the Bongo :p

Yeah SR4 single buck 2EQ, for Muse, U2, Green Day, Foo Fighters type covers. Last nights gig went down a storm, and for the first time in quite a while, I was getting praise for my sound instead of the guitarist, which made a change!

My main is a basic Sterling, but just yesterday I bought a SR5 and next week or so my Sterling HS is coming in so I expect an all-out Ball brawl to see which one comes out #1.

I currently play in a cover band that focuses on 80's/90's/00's radio-rock, and I'm also looking to join/start an original project that focuses on the dissonant/noisier side of things (Black Flag, Sonic Youth, Mogwai, Shannon Wright). I used to be in a band that had a style that sounded like a mixed between surf and Hendrix, but unfortunately that fell apart, and that was when I thought I liked the sound of a Jazz with DiMarzio's in it. (Coincidence...?)

I play a Sterling H in a 2 piece covers band doing just about anything (though most of the night I'm on skinny string duties) The Sterling comes out for the funk and soul stuff

I also play a another brand bass:eek: (same kinda lineage as MM)for an INXS tribute band just up the road in Greenock cos Gary Beers uses em and I like it also

but the Sterling still gets a trot out then cos Mr Beers has often been seen toting MM too!

Old fart, 4 stringers only for me. I give all the herd a run on a rotational basis, but am really digging my 30th Anniversary Stingray at the moment. Haven't been gigging for the past 6 months due to small family additions, moving country and buying a new house all being rather time consuming, but I'm hoping to find time to get along to some blues jams soon, and look for a band in a few months time. Mostly I play classic rock, blues, top 40 covers, but am pretty versatile.

Bongo 5 H. I try to play Country, Classic Rock and Blues. Good or bad playing the bass is always there in a big way. :)
