Help! Old Smoothie Battery cover options

Hey!

I have an Old Smoothie and when I need to replace the battery I have to unscrew the battery covering.
Are there any options for replacing the covering with a quick-release slat or something to where I can quickly change the battery?

You have a great feature on old smoothie that it doesn’t have a Gotch battery box that are guaranteed to fail on you at some point, usually at the most inconvenient time.
I’ve removed the box off a couple of my stingray’s in favour of the snap and plate option.
How often do you need to change the battery anyways? Once every couple of years or so needed or not

IMO, the battery plate and clip takes less time and is more reliable.
