I've had my eyes set on either a Cutlass or Caprice for a while now, but I've been reading a bit about the more rounded tones of Old Smoothie compared to regular/classic Stingrays. Wash hoping someone might have experience with the Cutlass, Caprice, and Old Smoothie basses and be able to shed some light on the sound of Old Smoothie compared to the other two.

I've been able to test a Cutlass and Caprice in person at my local GC. I'd have to order an Old Smoothie if I wanted to test it myself, and I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle yet.
