aMAZING.... the wait is over. I'm leaving work early today.

RAD RED JP6 FULLY LOADED!

Thanks to all who talked me into this purchase. My last new guitar was last century ('99) a 25th Anniversary LTD HamerUSA artist. I truly needed something to compliment that. I'll know tonight if I made the right decision.

Play the JP exclusively for two weeks so that you are totally comfortable with it. I think your Hamer will be seeing a lot of 'case' time. ;)

The JP is the most comfortable guitar.. all those contours.. and it looks fantastic, too! When you crack that case you won't know whether to play it or worship it! :)

My daughter just called and said the UPS man just delivered a big box.

"Is it another guitar Daddy?"

This is going to be a long hour...

wow. what a player! what a looker! Got 20 minutes with it be4 had to run. Had to leave it in the case for an hour be4 opening it (Minnesota; 12 degrees outside)
Arrived nearly in tune, very balanced, fast, pretty. Give me some time with her.

one BIG question/concern. Where's the compensated nut??? This is a HUGE disappointment and a reason why I ordered a new one.

No comp nut?
I thought as of late september all mm would be manufactured with them.
My Luke in mid sept didn't have one either, but all the necks we saw at the factory tour did.

I received my desert gold JP6 last month and it also did not have the compensated nut. I had an ESP a while back with one, and didn't see a huge difference, so it was no real biggie to me.

Good luck with your new axe. Compensated or not, it's doesn't get any better than an EBMM!
