Which is the right Lemon Oil to use for cleaning of a gunky fingerboard? Should I be using a furniture type Lemon Oil, or a natural Lemon Oil, that you find at health food stores?

Be careful there guys!

My understanding is that it should only be applied to a Rosewood fret board (as opposed to Maple) and not to the back of the neck.

With the Rose board, I believe it should only be applied sparingly as liberal amounts, applied too often, can lift the frets.

I use it once or twice a year at string change time.

Anyone....?????
