Hi guys,
once in a lifetime of a man there comes moment when you feel you need to change something. So I started idea about to exchange my Axiss Super Sport for Silhouette (Special). Since A.S.S. neck wasn't comfortable for me. I checked MM webpages to see which model has different neck and found that Silhouette maybe fits to my hand better. So I put an add on our local selling forum. But for a long time nobody responded. After few months the guy which has on the same forum add responded to me if I'll be willing to exchange his Albert Lee for my Axiss with him.
I like the unique shape of AL but I was afraid about neck, since I read somewhere here that the neck is wider than A.S.S.

Long story short. Guy came, I felt in love with AL and I got it.
To confirm that guitar exist, please see picture below. :)

Am I acceptable to join ALOC now? :)

PS: Could anybody helps me what to use for cleaning the maple fretboard? Are Wonder Wipes enough?

congrats streck, you have 2 beautiful guitars. And we have the same taste in guitars :)
Regarding the grime on the fretboard, you could try the wonderwipes, I don´t have any experience with them but they should work. I usually clean the board with some lemon oil and wipe it away. If this is not enough you could use very very smooth steel wool (0000). I wrote about it when I got my AL in this thread: http://forums.ernieball.com/music-man-guitars/34533-pinkburst-al-da-house.html

Yes I found it more comfortable, it was surprising for me also. :) Maybe due the maple fretboard my finders looks longer. :)

Congrats AL's are awesome I too found the AL a bit more comfortable than the Axis but both are killer guitars!

New discovery is always nice! Great pair of guitars you have.

Congrats streck - very nice AL! yes, Wonder Wipes should work wonders (pun intended ;)) on that maple board. My Reflex maple board was very dirty when I got it and after using 2 or 3 of them on the neck (removing the strings first made it MUCH easier) it returned the neck to mint condition. You can use a cotton cloth or something similiar to wipe off the excess lemon oil (that's what they're treated with) Depending on how deep the dirt is you may have to use some 0000 steel wool as was mentioned above.

Oh yeah and welcome to the Black Cherry Burst regiment of the ALOC too!

Hi Spudmurphy. I'm pleased to stand alongside other ALOC members. And thanks for personal greeting.

Btw. guitar is awesome, I tend more and more to play AL instead of SM these days. :)
