that's been up for sale forever..... nice bit of kit - but too pricey in this market.... and if you bought 4 BFR's you could have a choice of colours!

Doug I believe it would imply it is the first one made, though that is not always the truth since Gilmores famous 001 Strat is not the first one . This is guitar is not from the MM we know and is a quite a few years pre Sterling and the guitars we are familiar with. As stated I would rather take the 8K and get 3 or 4 guitars I am familiar with todays MM.

Nice find though, which I forgot to add. Speaking of the vault, that is where I would love to have access for a major GAS spree if I could pull fing out for a few minutes so I could get in lol.
