congrats rob to an absolut fantastic guitar BP and the guys made for you.
it really hurts myself to read such bad news about your son.
as a father of an one year old son too, i can imagine what must go on right now in your heart and mind.
i wish you all the best for Tom, your wife and yourself in those hard times.
everyday the sun rises and the temperature is going up now in downunder, and just like the temp goes up, i hope your sons getting better everyday!
again, all the best whishes!
Rob, God bless you and give your family and your son the healt and strenght through this hard time. I have been praying for your and I wish I could have also sign that guitar.
Big Poppa, you're the man!, this was a very touching message when I start reading, God bless you, your family and company, that was an outstanding gesture, with good, good came, thanks!
Truth is we all felt very lucky to be included in this as we all knew it would lift Rob's spirit like nothing else (short of his son's good health) could. You add in signatures from forum members, eb staff, and endorsed artists and you really have a one of a kind perfect gift under the most trying of circumstances.
It was impossible not to think of the powerful emotions Rob would have every time he picked up or even looked at this amazing guitar.
With all the great things that this company has done to make us feel special and show us their appreciation...this one is my absolute favorite.
Enjoy it Rob. And thanks to Sterling, and everyone else at EB.
Rob i just wish i could have signed it also ,we do have a great little Family here and your in our prayers at home as well as when i just read the post about Tom!.....BP is just doing what comes naturally to a philanthropist they give from their hearts and not for the glory .....all of the attention is to get positive MOJO and thoughts and Prayer to your family we ALL hope for the best out come thats for sure! and thats Tom HOME and safe and healthy with His Mom and Dad!
All the Best to you and your Family Rob and when i am in the Land Down under in 2010 i WILL be looking you up!
THANK YOU STERLING FOR THIS THREAD AND A WONDERFUL GIFT!!!!!! it warms my heart and is my pleasure to know you and have met you and your great Team!
Rob - I cannot begin to imagine how difficult a time this must be for you. It appears that the amazing gesture by BP, EBMM and the good people who attended the bash have done what they hoped, which is to lift your spirits. I've noticed in year that I have been here on this forum that your enthusiasm for EBMM guitars and guitars/music in general is infectious. You are always quick to offer a kind word or helpful information. People like you make this a great place. Know that your family is in my prayers. Best wishes for the health of your son, Tom.
WOW, I have been waiting to see this guitar. One of my friends who went to the bash told me about it.
BP things like this make me feel like I need to hurry up and buy a Music Man guitar. Not because maybe one day I'll get a free one but because your are truly an amazing person and shows though your company. You threw a party more than once for the member of the forum and even if you never do another one you did it before then you go and do this! I want to support a company like that.
Rob all the best to you man and congratz. We are praying for you and your Fam.
I think everyone would agree with me when I say that TOP DOES NOT SUCK!
This is awesome, I only wish I could have been there to sign it. Rob you deserve this for sure, and you probably have the most special axe of anyone here now
Just another reason I feel good about giving my money to Ernie Ball
It was also an honor for me to be asked to sign the guitar. I've told the story to a few family members and friends, all were touched by the gesture.
BP (and all at EB/EBMM that made this whole thing possible), you are a special group. And the guitar turned out beautiful.
Rob, there are a lot of good people thinking positive thoughts and sending positive wishes your way (my family included). In that way, at least, you have been blessed.
Tom, hang in there buddy! We want to see you play that guitar one day!!
