Yes, looking forward to it.

A word of warning - I have checked the Excel website this morning, if you're using the tube/DLR have a look at the underground timetables, there is engineering work on the 14th/15th (typical!) more changes needed and replacement buses.

It's going to take me about an hour to get from King's Cross to Excel rather than the usual 20mins.

See you there!:D

Probably the Stansted express to Liverpool Street, then Central Line to Bank (think it's only one or two stops) and then DLR to Excel centre

Then Guitar & Beer :)

Oh typical I'll recheck our route as well, coming from Kings Cross. We are getting the last train home tomorrow night, so hope it's not too screwed up or else I'll have to stay at my in-laws for the night instead (spare me!).

But we are very much looking forward to it :)

Bank seems to be the problem, on the routefinder I'm directed to the Circle line then walk from Tower Hill or Aldgate to Tower Gateway.

On Sunday the DLR service is not running between Beckton and Canning Town

This is the message on the website
Event Details

Any advice/alternative routes would be welcome

cheers

Aye I suppose I have been rather vocal over this - I saw the pictures of open house and the desert bash and just felt crap for not being able to go - so this is the next big thing, and again huge thanks to Blind Lemon , Dave B, Beth and all thsoe who made this possible,

As for transport - wing it and see - the last time I was in london it was the tube strike I walked from Baker Street to victoria in the warmest day whilst carrying a laptop and suitcase, Central London to Docklands is easy !!!!!

See you all there!!!!

Just to let you know - the S&T stand looks wicked.

Beth is definitely in the UK.

The backline is in my car (as are straplocks!)

We are going to have a BALL! (pun intended)

Tiff hun, there seem to be some issues with Bank - you'll need to change somewhere else. I'd recommend if you get to Bond Street and change to the Jubilee line, you can then get all the way to Canary Wharf where you can change to the DLR.
