Well I bit the bullet, and I plunked down a nice chunk of change for one of the GC BFR's. I bought it sight unseen since its coming from out of state.

supposedly these were kept safe cause they are a very limited run. If its not pristine, I don't have to take it.

These have not been in the stores long emough for them to have been beat to CHIT, the one I saw Sunday had only been in the store for 2 days, but man I know what you mean, there is a black luke at the central dallas GC that is just awful

Right on the money! That was me alright. Thanks for all your help and taking time out of your day to speak to me. I buy EB cause its a great product, made in the ole USA, with great quality control and care, and the "finest kind" of customer support!
Course everyone has me a little nervous now about the condition my guitar is gonna show up in. cause if GC stupidly managed to mess up this BFR, thats gonna throw a real monkey wrench into the plan. Well, I'll know no later then next Monday.
By the way, the order coming in today for a loaded Petrucci LE, thats me also. I splurged.
