ahhhh, its the home stretch. In only a couple weeks i will have my HS Sterling.

I'm very proud of myself for not going insane during this waiting period. I have no idea when I ordered it but it was at least 6 months ago, hell maybe 8? dunno, don't care! I will have it soon :)

Now what do I name her/him? Hey Dargin, can you check to see if its a girl or boy real quick? Is that on the build sheet? LOL

Speaking from experience I'll say that

a) The wait sucks

and

b) it is totally worth it.

the last couple weeks are the worst!

Well, now that the Bongo will be here in less than 2 weeks, I don't know how I weathered the wait. But I'm sure that it will be worth it.

I'll probably develop a nervous twitch this weekend, though. :D

ya know ... im a really impatient guy but the wait wasnt that bad; especially considering what im getting. i ordered a bass before it existed with the exact specs i wanted. i'll wait for that :)

the only reason im a bit twitchy now is cuz i should have the bas sin less than a month.

Just noticed your sig, you have 2 sterlings on order? Sweet. You'll have quite the family there, every pickup combination :) Next is a HP ;)

But lemme get this straight, 4 sterlings?

Arin, you ordered on 31 October!

You have been extraordinarily patient....and who knew the dual pickup Sterlings would be the last off the production line?

Waiting for a bass reminds me of something my father always says: "I don't mind accidentally hitting my hand with a hammer because it feels so good when it stops hurting." :D

I found out a little secret about Arin that I have decided it is time to share with the rest of the board. You see, he's a stalker. He's been stalking BP for quite some time. A restraining order was finally placed on him, confining him to the Bay area. So he devised a masterful plan in which he keeps ordering new Sterlings in hopes, one day, the factory might goof, pack BP up and send him to Arin. I just pray that they poke some breathing holes in the box when that day happens.

Craig your father must not have had very many fun things to do to have figured that one out. :)

I am lucky I have never waited very long for a bass.

me ... well, i didnt know but i assumed that somehow, with my luck, they would be.

but im amped. honestly ... im not famous or anything but id i ever got to the level where i could have my own sig bass it would be the HS Sterling (except it would say phatty on it somewhere). so im a very happy boy.

plus, the whole starting my own company thing kept me pretty busy during most of the waiting period.

hey jack ... was oct 31 the day i ordered from you right? my order for the HS was placed by Doug the minute the EB booth opened at NAMM ... technically the first one ordered. so i guess ive been waiting longer than anyone else alive, ever. LOL
