Here's something I recorded for fun with TheF*nd*rForum guys... The clean bits are a strat, cost I wanted a "shadows" kinda sound, but for a really blistering tone, I got only from none other than my JP6.:) The backing track was done by someone else on the other forum.

You hear the stock neck pup, then the Steve's Special in the bridge. The track was recorded thru a PODXTLive.

The playing is kinda crappy, cos I rushed this track on a lazy saturday afternoon, and my wife was complaining she couldn't hear the TV... heh.:D

1:31 to 2:56 is where you'll hear the JP6

Honestly, I was AMAZED at the tone I was getting from the neck pup. It sounds nothing like the Air Norton it was based on. It was smooth, but very big. The Steve's Special sounded warmer than I expected, but that's nice too! The sustain was amazing! This is easily the BEST bolt-on guitar I have EVER played in my 18 years of playing.

I only hope the Silo I'm getting soon will be as good. :D (And I think it will be...)

The JP is my favorite guitar of all time! I love them to death! I like your clip! If you think they sound good out of a POD, you will DIE if you hear one out of a mesa! I was blown away completely when I switched from my Paavey XXX to a Mesa/boogie Mark IV, and even more blown away when I got my Mesa Roadster!!! JP knows what sounds good and that is why he plays boogie amps. He has for YEARS... Good work on the clip. Keep it up!
