Well, it is alot worse than I thought. I finally was able to look over it real good and the neck itself is shot. I took off the strings and the neck nearly fell off. It's also cracked.

I find that amazing to me, because maple is not a soft wood. I always thought it could take a fall of some type. I guess the dog really jerked it off the stand hard because the whole neck needs to be replaced. Pics will follow soon. Just can't stop the crying.... :(

Holy C^%$...that is some serious C&*^...bro, that has to be painful...man that must have really taken a fall. How is the wood inside the neck? What I mean is what condition is it?
 
That must really hurt - I beat myself up if I put a scratch on my EVH (thankfully such things have rarely happened). Best thing to do is get on to the repair dept at EBMM and bite the bullet and buy a new neck. It won't ever be the same, but at least you'll have your baby in playing condition again
 
I called the repair dept today and talked to Dan. Just got some info....I wasn't home to give him the serial number. Still can't look at it. I need to take some pics, but my eyes water when I think about it....... :o
 
Sorry Jon, I asked for the repair dept and he answered. I will give you a call tomorrow if that is ok with you or do I just get a repair order and send it in? :cool:
