oh man. Open house was a lot of fun. but it was a huge production!!! it was soooooo much fun but i can only imagine how much planning had to go into that event. coordinating the venues, getting in touch w/ the SLO tourist thing to get group hotel rates, getting artists' schedules to line up w/ the date, food, goodies etc.

id definately go again but i couldnt imagine it being possible to make that a yearly event.

You got that right Phatty...I'm doing similar right now for School of Bass which is a much smaller event and it's a ton of work.

I do believe it was being touted as the "Once in a Lifetime Event" and it certainly was for me. There was just a tremendous amount of effort on EBMM and I look back and say, glad I was there cause I don't see it happening again. The closest would be the Bovinehost Birthday Bash in November.

... and find out how many basses shamus can go through in a 10 year span. my money is on a zillion

If they're all new Music Man Basses, BP should be doing back flips with sheer joy!

Let's just say the EBOH wasn't cheap for BP by any stretch of the mind. What it cost him would probably buy someone a starter house.

.. and that's just the bar tab! :D

Loved the Open House and would be at the next one in a heartbeat...

Looking forward to dragging along my F*nder-playing guitarists knowing that they'd leave as complete EBMM converts! :D

The Open House was a BLAST! I can only hope it happens again, but that's most likely nothing more then a pipe-dream.
