I just want to say thank you to Sterling and all of the dedicated people at Ernie Ball for making some of the best damn basses on the planet. Unlike others on this forum (who shall remain nameless), I was able to get the best bass sound I ever had as soon as I plugged in my first Ernie Ball Music Man bass in May of 2006. That natural, maple fretboard 4-stringer was my first, but far from my last Ernie Ball bass. In two short years, I have bought three more 4-string Stingrays, including my much-beloved 30th Anniversary beauty. After playing 4 string basses for 35 years, I also bought my first 5 string bass in 2006, a Stingray 5 H in white with a maple fretboard, and I loved the sound of the Stingray 5 so much I've bought 3 more of those, including a gorgeous 20th Anniversary rosewood fretboard single H and a single H Dargie Delight. I've got a honeyburst fretless Stingray 5 H with piezo on order right now, and when it arrives, I'll have gone from zero Ernie Ball basses to 9 Ernie Ball basses in a little over two years. I figure that buying your great instruments with my hard-earned money is the best compliment I can give you guys--plus I've got the best bass sound I've ever had! Keep up the good work!

PS: You know, I may need a Sterling and a Bongo someday . . .
