Any one got opinions on bogos in black vs saphire black ? Pics would be nice if ya gottem.

Just wondering if the saphire is actually more to the grey side or just duller black than the gloss black?

General consensus on what shade of black most are buying in the forum and public.

Lot of the pics shown here are nice as they put the bass in a different light than on some of the dealer and mfg sites.

I think you're right about the sapphire black - it's a bit more grayish. I haven't got a picture, but I'm sure someone else can post one. Also, I believe the sapphire black isn't gloss at all, or near nil. Just workin' from my horrible memory here. :p
 
naked black is the way to go...naked radiance is better (i think) but i wish i could get the scerw holes filled and painted over...

would you be mad or call me a copy cat if i got a bongo like yours, but with piezo, and took off the pickguaurd. that is one good looking bass brother. that bongo will come right after the honeyburst stingray.
 
Travis, I wouldn't mind at all! I'd love to see more people with naked ("nekkid" in my terminology :p) Bongos, esp. the ones with glossy finishes! :D If I ever get another MM bass, I'll flaunt that one nekkid around the forums also! :cool: :p

freakin awesome. i love the way your bass looks. after a car and a honeyburst ray that is definatly on my list.
