i cant speak for J ...but i had a set of them and they changed the tone tooooo much....and i dont like th elook of the black saddles ..so i took em off......but that was my experience..

I didn't notice much of a change in tone with the Graphtechs. If there is a change, it's pretty subtle.

BTW, I like the orange swirl..... PM me if you wish to sell off the original scratch plate.
