I am sure it is...Ebony is great stuff.
All though sometimes it is nice to pick up a bass with a maple fretboard, more mid range punch to it.
I tend to like the extremes going from Ebony to Maple.
Rosewood seems more middle of the road to me?

I have a Bongo Stealth H4 lined fretless with Ebony board high up on my G.A.S. list....maybe before this year ends? LOL
