If it makes you feel any better, our guitarist is always in Europe (works for a shady govt contractor and can't really explain what he does) and our drummer is often too busy cavorting with his lesbian pals to rehearse.

Yeah, we're set for world domination.

It will be in about 2 months. In my world anyway, but now I'm worried about my band situation. Everytime I make a big gear purchase there's a band catatrophe. We just replaced our drummer in December and practiced with our new keyboard player for the first time on Tuesday and the whole night the atmosphere was weird.

Sounds like my marriage. :p

Tobacco burst, matching headstock, tort guard. It'll look sorta like this (only wth the extra pickup :) )

I borrowed these pics off an ebay auction

I though I was gonna come up with some radical color scheme, but I guess I'm just a traditionalist at heart. I will recommend that everyone lobby to make Pearl Redburst available on basses. What a cool paint job.
Congrats guy. I've been a diehard Fender man for many years. I just discovered MM Basses over the past couple of weeks. I wouldn't mind owning one just like yours. Maybe a Buttercream TOO!!!!!!:D

I asked the owner of the ebay Ray pictured above if he was sure it wasn't vintage burst. He said he is 100% sure that it's Tobacco burst.
