I'm ordering from MF - I'm basically neutral on color - doesn't really matter to me - however, I tend to favor rosewood boards. So pick me a color - any color as long as MF carries it - the choices are black, honeyburst, graphite pearl, black cherry burst, and white.

I'd be open to maple boards if you feel there is a color combo that warrants it. But again I'm really neutral on color just want a cool looking color that is somewhat popular. I am very slightly leaning toward white with a RW board. I'm wondering - in the MF pics they show matching headstocks - but I would assume that most Ray's don't come with matching headstocks do they?

White, rsewood board, white pickguard, and matching headstock looks awesome! Matching headstocks are optional, I think a $50-100 upcharge.

Man, if you don't know what you want just pick up the phone, tell them to send you a bass, and make it a surprise

Sorry, but sometimes I wonder when people are gonna start sending pics in of potential soulmates for the knuckleheads to make a decision on for them:confused:

White is always a nice choice though:)

+1

I wonder how people who are so indecisive actually manage to make it through each day. "Will I take the bus to work, or drive?" .... "Subway or Dunkin' Donuts for lunch?" .... "Should I cross the road now, or wait until that 32 wheeler gets a little closer?"

Throw a dice maybe?

Personally, I'd want to know what I was getting, I wouldn't leave it to someone else to choose. What's your favourite colour? I'd go with that.

I can't help you with your color; it’s your bass, you decide. But I will suggest that if you are only going to deal with MF you should call them and find out what they actually have it stock, otherwise you are just authorizing them to order one from EBMM and you will have to wait for it to be built (4 to 6 months).

If they have what you want (instant gratification), order it. If not, have them order exactly what you want and enjoy the wait. (Long term gratification and always well worth the wait.)

Good luck and happy shopping. :D
