Ordering assistance in Phoenix

Hello all,

Great forum you've got here!

I was wondering if anyone in the Phoenix (or even Tucson) area could help me out. I'm looking to order a new ASS soon and was wondering if there any dealers that you can recommend going through. I realize there are several GC's in the area but would prefer to stay away from them if possible. I guess I'm looking for a reputable shop that will give me a good price and service to boot.

Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

norm's in Tucson, actually...I'm in Scottsdale. I'm not helping this guy. :p LOL!

Welcome to the board, bro...I'm a smart aleck, don't mind me. :)

GC's tend to be the norm here in Phx/Scotts/Tempe, etc. so you unfortunately don't have too much to choose from (ah, the old days when we had good guys like Neil and those cats at the Guitar Shop in Scottsdale!). The only other place that the EBMM dealer locator lists is The Bass Place (west side of Scottsdale Road, about 2 miles north of the 202 in Tempe), and one place in Prescott (too far to drive, IMO)

There is one music shop that I can't remember the name of for the life of me, but they are located in N. Phx at 32nd St and Thunderbird, northwest corner -- it's like a dual floor plaza, and I believe thy're 2nd floor. They had a lot of EBMM's a while back. Worth a shot...

I will say, with a policy of non-abuse in this regard, and with no guarantees implied, etc. that I do have some in's at the Scottsdale GC at the Pavilions. I can scope their stock for you, maybe grab a few digital snaps, and see IF I could work a deal for ya. (My main contact is in Pro Audio, but you know they talk to each other, help each other out, etc. -- I'm a pretty good haggler, and I know people that are as well...) :)

norm, anything you can think of on the southernly aspect to help out?

The other two EBMM dealers in Tucson are "Sticks and Strings" and GC. The problem with Sticks and Strings is they don't know me. The problem with Rainbow is they know me. The problem with GC is they are GC. ;)

Dargin is right in that Rainbow usually has the best selection in stock. They currently have some Subs, a couple of Pets (even a 7 string) and a piezo Luke. If you come down, swing by and I'll let you try a Silo out if you are "so inclined".

Wait a minuet. Why would I do that? How on earth could that benifit me. Good Karma? Is this a test by the man to see if I will help out a brother and the the big machine? I'll tell you why I would do that. Because I am a good person and I like to share with others about things I believe in and things that make me happy. This is one of those instances that both apply.



(By "so inclined" what I really mean is if you are a good person and your hands are clean. Incase niether is true I will kill you and cut off your hands (respectively)) :eek:

Dargin - Thanks for all the info on the phone today. I can't say how impressed I am with EB so far. Not to many companies are that friendly and willing to help. Kudos

Darrell - Thanks for the offer in checking out the Scotsdale GC. I just may go over myself and check out what they have in stock. I'm sure I'll be emailing you either way.

Norm - Thanks, I think...j/k!!! Dargin told me that Rainbow looked promising. I may just take a little trip down to check the place out as I'm always open for a road trip. I appreciate the offer to try out the Silo. I can assure you that my hands are clean (and that I'm a good person) so there's no need for a killing spree ;) As with Darrell, I may be in contact with you..hope you don't mind.
