I can't remember if this has been asked before or not.
Does the colour you order affect the amount of time it takes to get the guitar???

"I am assuming that when painting the bodies and/or headstocks of a guitar that the factory waits until there are a certain number of them before painting.
If I happened to order the one colour they didn't do too often, then my waiting time would be slightly longer."

Is this correct? Could someone confirm this?

I think there are several items that effect order and build time. I think one thing in your favor is you are not me.

I'll keep that in mind.
So it will probably help if I don't sign the order sheet as FoGMaN!

Trans finishes possibly take a bit longer if they need to get the right piece of wood that looks good grain pattern wise etc.

Killing you!?!?
Since I've started the search, I've purchased my daughter 2 guitars. Bought myself an amp and cable....... It's now been 2 years since day one!!!
Killing you!?? You guys have only been waiting for me to buy one for about 10 months. :p
The good new is, you get to keep the hummer and the dog at home! ;)

But no, not ordered yet. I'm guessing I'll get there within a month. Work is insanely busy right now, which is good. It'll take care of my purchase!

Shamus, I noticed it last night. I just saw that picture like a month or so ago.

She's well in dowd that's for sure. Though it's gotta hurt for her to run.

I just read the last 2 or 3 posts and then looked at the title of the thread. What is the wait time if I order one (or two I guess. They only come as a set right.) of these? Where do I call.

Order your guitar foggy!

question:

Does she have a reinforced steel spine to carry the additional loads that nature did not intend for her to have naturally???

It would be damn-near impossible for her to ride on the back of a motorcycle...come to think of it, as a solo rider, either!:D :D
