i know a whole forum over at eddievanhalen.com that would by some if they did a short run. like i said it took me 3 yrs to find mine and its the nice 2 1/2 inch one like ed used. always looking for them cause i sure as hell am not gonna dish out what people want on ebay for the peavey's and since ed left there remakes are junk. hopefully eb will do something if not we will have to keep looking for used ones.

I think even a run of standard leather EB straps, without the velcro would be welcome. I liked the velcro too, but I'd take any leather strap over the nylon web kind I currently use. I would prefer it to be an EB, but I've been thinking about any leather one for some time, just haven't bothered getting one yet.

There was one on Ebay a few months ago that I wanted to have, but forgot to get in there and grab it. It went for over $100. I should have just put a big bid on it and then forget about it, that was my stupidity.

I'd like to get one for my EVH, and add the finishing touch to it.

I use the current EB straps in black. Don't need anything else.

same here.....
i had some leather straps custom made once...............but found i liked the nylon better because i could shift the position of the guitar alot easier w/ them.
& i'm also proud to wear ernie ball emblem :)

nope that is shaggy that did those. i have floyd's on my olp's but didnt do any poist on them. i do mostly audio clips as i built a rig just like ed's 90's rig. anyway this are great straps and alot like what ed used in the 80's except no velcro. i wish we could get a short run of them. very nice indeed.

Nice to see another player from western PA here. Where do you shop for guitars? I'd guess Brighton Music in New Brighton, but they don't carry EBMM guitars!

Hey...What's up?

I do buy picks & strings sometimes at Brighton Music. They are really cool guys there....they are supportive of me & my bands....but they carry no guitars I like. If they did they would be really overpriced too.

I always bought a lot of stuff at New York Music in Boardman, OH....they carry EBMM

I have friends that work at Hollowood's & Guitar Center in Robinson.........they give me the lowest prices they can give without getting fired on everything.

I used to go to Hollowood when they were in McKees Rocks. They moved to Robinson which is further from my house, and I'm not crazy about the new layout. But I've bought a lot of PA and reack gear from DeWayne at Hollowood.

Jim Botti who owns Brighton is a great guy. I've never paid the 'sticker price' when buying from him, and I've been buying from him for him since the 80's. (At his Pittsburgh location.. I've only been in the New Brighton store once!) I wish he'd carry Music Man... I may have to parade my guitars down there and tempt him a little.

Count me in as well. Just saw the bay where the rip-off company's are going for $200!!!! used. Obviously instead of having EVH on it BP can come up w/ his own name (or maybe we can have a contest) on the strap.

Example: Ernie Ball
Big Poppa

BPII
EBF (EB Forum) etc....
