For those of you with an original Morse.

I am looking to mod the main switch that adds pickup #1 to what is selected. I am looking to make the mod that essentially adds that pickup when the switch is flipped up as opposed to down as it comes stock.

For those that have made this mod: Can this be done without taking the pickguard off? Is it too risky to just loosen the nut and twist it (and subsequently the wires) around?

Thanks!

Ah, the "Tommyindelaware" mod. (Tommy does this to all of his ... not Steve's though.)

Depends. Sometimes you can loosen it and flip it. Other times there's not enough lead.

Give it a shot, you'll know right away. If you feel too much tension, just leave it until you can take off the p/g.

I take it this is done so that the picking hand doesn't accidentally hit the switch......
