I was there too- and it was well worth the drive down from Savannah. awesome all the way around- even with Steve's amp difficulties, it sounded awesome! Like BP said: "you can see the polished act anytime..."

thanks balance, for having the presence of mind to get quality pics...I got a couple lousy cell phone pics, so it's great to see these.

foggy- I'm terrible at crowd estimation, balance's guess of about 150 seems pretty reasonable. I got there real early (I drove a long ways and had business on the way, so I left myself a big cushion) and poked around the store for a bit beforehand. I got in line about 6pm (an hour early) and was pretty close to the front...I was maybe 20th in line and got a real good seat.

Thanks again to BP, GC, the artists and everyone that makes these things happen. This was really something special...hell, the stories from Luke alone would have been more than one could hope for...but the whole thing...wow.

Hey- pretty cool stuff!

Anybody know how Steve liked the RW neck on the Morse?

Beej- I wanted to ask him (and Luke, they both had RW necks) about this, but didn't get a chance- there were so many other good questions being asked-

maybe BP can comment on this? - or a knuck. can ask at a later event?

John,

I'd add to this that it was a pleasure to hear what YOU had to say about playing...and a pleasure to hear you playing!

Nice to have John F there as well! Like a bonus. And Dave too.

See you soon.

BTW hope these events helps push these really great instruments into the hands of many more discerning players.

I thought you and mrs vail would be there!

I am crushed BP, Mrs V got an itch to go see my mom for the long weekend and we ended up going to NYC for the weekend. Once there I realized that I was going to miss the event at GC. It was bitter sweet because seeing family is always a great time but missing you guys in FL is something I won't get over soon! Come back please!!!!!!!! :D
