So...are you still buying it? :D
Oh, hell yeah. It's already on order...I mean, I spend more each week at the grocery store. If it sucks bad, then back it goes!

I'll make sure to post a detailed review when it comes in. (Ha! Yeah, right!)

Having bought such an...instrument...you do realize that now you have to learn "Big Bottom" AND play it in public. It's the price you have to pay.

That would be hella fun!

Count me in for Derek's part! :D

Don't forget to remove the aluminum-wrapped veggie from your spandex pants before going through a metal detector!

LOL...I've played the tune on stage, but I don't take the "Derek Smalls Experience" thing THAT far :D

I was more disgusted that the non-EBMM bass he chose to post was a Rogue.

Well, what can I say? I've wanted one for long time. I've spent a b@tt-load of money on gear this year, and, frankly, if this were not "grocery-money" cheap, She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed would not have approved.

May I ask if you have ever played one? And not one of $79.00 entry-level models, but one in $200 and up range? They are not bad FOR WHAT THEY ARE. Are they anywhere near any EBMM, perhaps even the SUB? Of course not.

So, if you had the choice between having an 8 string of workman-like quality, or none at all, which would you choose? At the end of the day, if an instrument brings me enjoyment, I am not too concerned about what name is on the headstock, but that's just me :p

Goodnight, everybody. I've gotta gig tomorrow, so I gotta go practice. Ya'll have a great weekend.
