Hi...is there anyone from the Oregon or Washington area? We are heading up there next month and was wondering....

1) Are there any Open Jam Nights that we could check out

2) Are there any Music Shops that we should stop at

3) Any fun Music Venues

5) Any Must See Vacation sites

If you are in Seattle you have to drop by Bass Northwest on 1st and Yesler, right downtown in Pioneer Square.
Check the local papers for jam nights, too many to list. It iseems like a trend right now.
Check out the Seattle Weekly for music venues. There are lots in the area but the artist playing there might determine whether or not you wanted to check it out.

Also if you go all the way up to Seattle go to Northwest Guitars, they have the best stock of MusicMan guitars up here, they have a Petrucci, a Y2D, a Luke and a plethora of basses last time I was in. Also the Experience Music Project is fun, one of the best music museums in the world.
