I've been called to audition for another classic rock band, so I'm heading to this studio in town tomorrow, and I'll get the chance to unleash the Sterling through my choice of some vintage tube heads (or some newer GK stuff, if the tubes ain't happenin' for some reason...)

Should be fun...(at the risk of sounding a little conceited, I ain't exactly worried about whether they'll offer me the job or not...it ain't exacly rocket science ;)

(..but wish me luck never the same  )

Good Luck, Glen!

I'm also trying to find a classic rock/R&B band to gig with for the summer...maybe long term.

Thanks, all..yeah, they were suitably impressed...the Sterling got a lot of comments, and I got a real nice late sixties growlie tube sound through a Bassman 100 and a 2X15 cab. Real sweet.

The funniest part, though, was when the drummer and the lead guitarist showed up--they BOTH looked just like Tommy Chong a la "That Seventies Show." I had to bite my tongue real hard not to bust out! Good dudes, though! We had fun, and I'm sure they'll be callin' :D
