Geezer was the first bass player I gravitated to when I got started...I still use his note-bending technique to this day.

Matt's really great. I love his style. He's mainly known for playing fast, pick style stuff like on the "harder" Rancid tracks but the guy's really good in general. I've heard old MP3s from back in his OPIV days (1987-89) where he's playing a bunch of slap etc. And obviously he's a great ska bassist as well
